Eloxx Pharmaceuticals, Inc.  (“Eloxx”,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy. We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Promotional Communications

If you do not want us to use your email address/contact information for promotional purposes, you can opt out at any time by sending us an email stating your request to privacy@eloxxpharma.com. If you have received a promotional email from us, you can also opt out of receiving future promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in such email.

6. Accessing and Changing Your Information

You can review and change the personal information associated with any account you may establish by logging into your account and visiting your account profile page. However, we currently do not permit the creation of accounts through our website as we currently do not offer products and services through our website.

Where we process your data on the basis that you have consented to such processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us at privacy@eloxxpharma. com.  We may not accommodate a request to change or delete information if we believe the change or deletion would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

7. California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our website who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. 8. Children Under the Age of 13

Nothing contained on our website is directed to, and we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from, children under the age of 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information. 9. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make a material change to our Privacy Policy, we will provide notice by posting on our website that our privacy practices have changed and will provide a link to the new policy. In the event we make a material change to how we use your personal information, we will provide you with an opportunity to opt out of such new or different use. The date this Privacy Policy was last revised is at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to check for any updates or changes.

10. Data Transfers

Eloxx is based in the state of Massachusetts in the United States. If you live outside of the United States, it will be necessary for us to transfer, process, and store such information outside of the country in which you reside, including in the United States. By using the website, you consent to the transfer to and processing and storage of your information in countries outside of your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws than those in the country where you reside.
